Additional: Richard R. Kelley, 74, of Wapakoneta, died at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, 1998 at his residence. He was born Sept. 16, 1924 in Auglaize County to Richard P. and Stella (Fitzpatrick) Kelley. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Connie Schuler of Wapakoneta, and Shirley and Dale Rothe of Wapakoneta; eight grandchildren, Eric Schuler of Wapakoneta, Kelley Schuler, also of Wapakoneta, Craig Schuler of Columbus, Marcia Krogman of Mendon, Daniel Rothe of St. Marys, and Cindy, Ginger and Jill Rothe, also of Wapakoneta; a brother, Bernard Kelley of New Bremen; and four sisters, Lucille Bayley of Fenton, Michigan, Gertrude Ripploh of Minster, Ruth Fink of St. Marys and Elizabeth "Betty Ann" Sampson, also of St. Marys. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Thomas H. Schuler, a brother, Francis "Frank" Kelley, and a sister, Beradine Isenberger. Mr. Kelley was an independent wildcat truck driver. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wapakoneta. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday Dec. 15, 1998 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. William O'Donnell officiating. Burial is to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Wapakoneta. The family will receive friends from 5-8 at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home in Wapakoneta. A parish wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Monday.
