Additional: Marian H. Kohler, 90, 312 E. Auglaize St., Wapakoneta, died at 12:40 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, 2001, in the emergency room at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys. She was born Nov. 20, 1910, in Toledo, the daughter of William and Cora (Kegley) Gray. On June 27, 1935, she married Bernard A. Pfenning, who died March 14, 1950. Then on Aug. 8, 1956, she married Henry F. Kohler, who died Sept. 3, 1988. Survivors include a son, James F. (Janis) Pfenning of Green Valley, Ariz.; three daughters, Judith (Roger) Pfenning Place of Toledo, Susan (Ernest) Pfenning Rice of Farmington Hills, Mich., and Kristine (Daniel) Pfenning Havens of Lima; a brother, Richard Gray of Toledo; two sisters, Elizabeth Clark and Virginia Eischen, both of Toledo; 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cecilia Pfenning Pohlabel, and a brother, William Gray. A homemaker, Mrs. Kohler was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wapakoneta. A graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Toledo, she was a charter member of Knights of Columbus Council 1272 Auxiliary in Wapakoneta and belonged to two card clubs in Wapakoneta. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. William Eilerman officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Wapakoneta. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are being handled by Long & Folk Funeral Home in Wapakoneta.
