Additional: M. Elizabeth "Liz" Kaufman, 81, Wapakoneta Manor, died at 5:35 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 2001, at the nursing home. She was born Oct. 6, 1919, in Lima, the daughter of Currie M. and Marie L. (Price) Harris. On Nov. 7, 1987, she married Dale W. Kaufman, who preceded her in death in 1995. Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth A. (Joseph) Harbert of Waynesfield; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Dwight A. Harris Sr. and a sister, Chloe Page. Mrs. Kaufman was a sales person at Minnich's Market in Waynesfield and at Woolworth in Lima. She was a member of Eagles Lodge 370 and a Past Madam president of the auxiliary. She was a member of the Orioles in Lima. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Chiles & Sons-Lamen Funeral Home, Lewis Chapel, in Lima with the Rev. Don Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Branch Cemetery in Waynesfield. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
