Additional: New Knoxville, March 23—Mrs. Louisa M. Kettler, age 74, wife of Fred Kettler, died at 1 o'clock this morning at the family residence after having been ill for several years with a heart ailment. She had been bedfast since January. Mrs. Kettler was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schneider and was born in New Bremen on March 5, 1870. On January 10, 1898 she was married to Fred Kettler who is left to mourn her death along with one son, Aaron Kettler of New Knoxville. Sisters and brothers are Mrs. Mary Hammond, Mena, Mrs. Caroline Poppe and Jake Schneider of New Bremen and Dan Schneider of St. Marys, There are many friends. She was a member of the First Evangelical Reformed church here and of the Ladies Aid Society. Funeral services are arranged for 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Evangelical Reformed church with Dr. D.A. Bode officiating. Burial will take place in Pilger Ruhe cemetery. Friends may call Saturday afternoon and evening at the residence.
