She was born April 24, 1908 in New Bremen, the daughter of Henry and Sophia (Tostrick) Topp. She married William Klute, who is deceased. Survivors are a granddaughter, four great-grandchildren and a number of nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a daughter; Karen Klute, four brothers; Leo, William, Oscar and Emil Topp, and three sisters; Bertha Topp, Amanda Hirschfeld and Clara Schroer. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ, New Bremen, and the New Bremen Senior Citizens. Funeral services are Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Gilberg- Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen, the Rev. John W. Tostrick officiating. Burial is at the German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen. Calling is one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Auglaize County Hospice.
