Additional: New Knoxville—Arthur Patrick "Arty" Kenny, 18, 100 N. East St., died Friday, Nov. 19, 1999, at 6:23 a.m. of injuries sustained in a traffic accident near St. Henry. (See story page 1) Born March 12, 1981, in Lima, he was the son of Arthur P. Kenny III and Thelma M. Wreede. Survivors include his fiancee, Melissa Swiger of New Knoxville; a son, Dayn McHale Kenny at home; his mother and her fiance, Thelma Vermillion and Ronald STREET of St. Marys; the stepfather, Ken Vermillion of New Knoxville; and the father and stepmother, Arthur P. III and Kristi Kenny of Lake Worth, Fla. Also surviving are a brother, Scott Kenny of St. Marys; two half-sisters, Cece and Kelsi Kenny of Lake Worth; the grandparents, Tom and Nancy Wreede of Mohave Valley, Ariz., Art and Wilma Kenny of Wapakoneta; and step-grandparents Jim and Sue Wierwille of New Knoxville. Mr. Kenny was a 1998 graduate of Memorial High School in St. Marys. He was employed at Cooper Foods in St. Henry. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Long and Folk Funeral Home in St. Marys with the Rev. Keith D. Stuck officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys. Friends may call today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
