Additional: Mrs. Mary Catherine Hurm, age 71, widow of Charles Hurm, Jr. died at 10:20 o'clock Saturday evening at her home at 119 South Pine Street. Her death was due to a complication of diseases with which she had been seriously ill for the last three weeks. Mrs. Hurm was a daughter of the late Louis and Mary Balsinger Koehl and lived all of her life in St. Marys, the Koehl family residence having been in South Chestnut street, a part of the present Memorial Park for years. She was born on April 7, 1877. On Oct. 20, 1903, she was married to Charles Hurm, Jr., who preceded her in death two years ago. Left to mourn her death are two daughters, Mrs. Walter H. (Ruth) Houtz, with whom she lived and Mrs. Fred W. (Mary Margaret) Schuler, Wapakoneta; four grandchildren, Shirley and Louise Houtz, Judy and Billy Schuler, Wapakoneta; three sisters, Mrs. Theresa Hoorman, Mrs. Agatha Danahar and Mrs. Lena Marx, all of St. Marys and two brothers, August Koehl, St. Marys; and Rev. Urban Koehl, Tipp City, Mrs. Laura Metz is a sister-in-law. There are many more distant relatives and a legion of friends, her kindly ways having endeared her to many. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic church and of the Holy Rosary Altar Society. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 o'clock Tuesday morning at Holy Rosary church with the Rev. Fr. Koehl offering the requiem high mass. Burial will be in Gethsemane cemetery. Friends may call at the Vore and Folk Funeral Home this afternoon and evening and Tuesday until the hour of the services. The Altar Society will meet at 7 o'clock this evening for prayers.
