Additional: Mrs. Lena Henkender [sic], wife of Geo. Henkender, a farmer living three miles south of Moulton, died last Saturday, January 9, 1904, after undergoing a painful operation. Her maiden name was Lena Fenneman and she was aged 36 years, 11 months and 17 days. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. John Bachman of the Reformed church at New Knoxville. Interment at Pilger Ruhe cemetery. The deceased leaves her husband and four small children to mourn the loss of a faithful wife and affectionate mother.
