Additional: Herman H. Haberkamp, 90 year old retired farmer who formerly lived at 315 North Ash, St. Marys, died this morning. He died at 5:00 a.m. at the Auglaize County Home where he had been a resident since May 26, 1971. Born November 10, 1882, in Shelby county, he was the son of William and Magdalena Lammers Haberkamp. On February 27, 1908, he married W.C. Amanda Wierwille. She died June 26, 1972. A daughter, Mrs. John (Margaret) Weadock of here and four sons, Wilfred and Earl of Toledo, Vernon W. of St. Marys and Paul H. of Woodhaven, Mich., survive with 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Herman F. (Alvina) Henschen, Mrs. George (Sarah) Katterheinrich, and Mrs. Julia (Ella) Holtkamp, all of New Knoxville and a brother, Julius of Toledo. Three brothers, Rev. Henry, Benjamin, and an infant, an infant sister, a grandson, Mark, and a great granddaughter, Dawn, preceded Mr. Haberkamp in death. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ since 1908, a charter member of the St. Paul's Church Men's Association, had been a deacon at the church and formerly served on the church consistory. For 52 years he was a farmer northwest of St. Marys in the Four Mile School District and worked as a thresher for many years. After he retired in 1960 he moved to St. Marys and was a part time roof salesman for Sherrif-Goslin Co. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the St. Paul's Church, St. Marys, with the Rev. Mr. Howard H. Poetter officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the Yoder-Long and Folk Funeral Home, from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and after noon Saturday at the church where the body will lie in state until the time of services.
