Additional: Fred Hullinger, 74, 423 W. South St., St. Marys, died at 8:05 p.m. June 14 at his home. He was born June 28, 1926, in Fort Wayne, Ind., to Fred and Bessie (Fett) Hullinger. On Aug. 17, 1947, he married Edna Frischkorn, who survives. Other survivors are four sons and their wives, Fred and Jackie, Tim and Patti, and Steven and Leslie, all of St. Marys, and Michael and Anita of Santa Rosa, Calif., and a son, Joe of Chicago, Ill.; a daughter and her husband, Sharon and Rick Day, St. Marys, a brother and his wife, Jim and Pat of Celina; a sister and her husband, Mary Kay and Jerry Purdy, Coldwater, and two sisters, Carol Bill, Arvada, Colo., and Pat Eblen, Antwerp; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Deceased are a daughter, Gail, and two brothers, Frank and Richard. He was retired as a truck driver for ABF Freight Systems, and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II where he was a member of the Sea Bees. He was a member of Hillsdale Baptist Church, St. Marys, the Ohio American Legion, and a charter member of Veterans of Foreign Wars post 9289, St. Marys. Services are 2 p.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Ron Spurgeon officiating. Burial with full military graveside rites is at Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton. Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys. Contributions can be made to the church building fund or St. Rita's Hospice Program.
