Additional: New Knoxville, June 5—Ernst Frederick Hoge, age 64, living near New Knoxville on St. Marys R.R.3, died at 7:30 o'clock Saturday evening at Lima Memorial hospital where he was under treatment for a complication of diseases. He had been ill four weeks. He was engaged in farming in Washington Township where he had lived all of his life. He was born January 7, 1880, a son of the late Henry and Henrietta Wellermeyer Hoge. On January 3, 1911 he married Emma Lutterbeck, who is left to mourn his death with two children, Norman Hoge, R.R.3, St. Marys and Kermit Hoge at home, two daughters-in-law, and one granddaughter. Two children are deceased. Herman Hoge of New Knoxville, and Mrs. Anna Kuck of New Knoxville, are brother and sister of the deceased. Mr. Hoge was a member of the Evangelical and Reformed church. Funeral services are arranged for Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the residence and 2 o'clock at the Evangelical and Reformed church with Dr. D.A. Bode officiating. Burial will take place in Pilger Ruhe cemetery. Friends may call at his late residence Tuesday afternoon and evening.
