Additional: Dr. Dorsey E. Holtkamp, 77 of Lebanon, died Saturday, March 22, 1997 at Christ Hospital. He is survived by his wife Phyllis (Bradfield) Holtkamp; a son, Kurt Holtkamp, St. Lucie, Florida; five stepsons, Edmund Bradfield, Chicago; John Bradfield, Gaithersburg, Maryland; Dr. Philip Bradfield, Baltimore, Michael Roberts of Germantown, and Chuck Roberts of Prescott, Arizona; one stepdaughter, Verne Coy of Centerville, Utah; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Dr. Holtkamp was a well respected retired Merrill Dow pharmaceutical research scientist. He had published several articles and holds patents in fertility and other fields. He was born and raised in New Knoxville. He received his undergraduate, graduate and doctorate degrees in medical research from the University of Colorado. He was a member of the Ohio Academy of Scientists, Society for the Study of Reproduction, American Fertility Society, International Family Planning Research Association and Pacific Coast Fertility Society. Dr. Holtkamp was a member of Lebanon Presbyterian Church for more than 20 years. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Lebanon Presbyterian Church.
