Additional: Arthur H. Heil, 66, 418 S. Walnut St., New Bremen, died on Wednesday, July 20, 1983 at noon in the Valley Nursing Home of complications from an extended illness. He was born on March 2, 1917 in New Bremen to Clarence and Kathryn (Frenzer) Heil. He was married on April 22, 1950 to Virginia Kettler, who survives along with one daughter, Mrs. Terry (Debbie) Carmean, St. Marys; three grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Clair (Katherine) Grundish, Route 33, St. Marys; step-mother, Mrs. Clarence "Bernie" Heil, New Bremen. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II. He was a member of the New Bremen Woodmen of the World, New Bremen American Legion Post 241, and the St. Paul United Church of Christ in New Bremen. He was a retired postal employee. Memorial services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. in the Vornholt Funeral Home, New Bremen, with the Rev. Wade J. Schemmel officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home on Friday from 1 p.m. until the time of the services. The body will be donated to the Medical college of Ohio in Toledo. The family requests that flowers be omitted and that memorial contributions be directed to the St. Paul United Church of Christ Memorial Fund.
