Additional: Former Minster and Russia resident, Mary A. Grillot, 88, died at 2:10 a.m. April 1 at Dorothy Love Retirement Community in Sidney, where she was a resident. She was born Feb. 22, 1913, in Burkettsville, to William and Thecla (Nau) Hemmelgarn. On June 1, 1937, she married Joseph Oswald Grillot, who died Feb. 25, 1974. Survivors are eight daughters and their husbands, Annette and Jerome Goldschmidt, Potomac, Md., Patricia and Ronald Francis, Mary Jo and Robert Enneking, and Louise and Raymond Koenig, all of Sidney, Carol and Robert Huecker, Minster, Joan and Michael Donauer, Tipp City, Barbara and Daniel Creagan, Cornwall, N.Y., and Nancy and Lynn Maurer, Botkins; a sister, Luella Gagel, St. Marys; 21 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren. Deceased are two brothers, five sisters, a grandchild, and two great-grandchildren. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster and Minster Historical Society. She was a former member of St. Remy Church, Russia. Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. William Hoyng officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Calling is 3-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
