Additional: James Finke, 66, 200 Knoxville Ave., St. Marys, died suddenly at 9:42 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000, in the emergency department of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys. He was born Dec. 5, 1934, in Minster, the son of Arthur and Marcella (Wissman) Finke. On July 5, 1985, he married Alice Kay Schleeter, who survives. Other survivors include two sons, Brent (Donna) Finke of St. Petersburg. Fla., and Matthew (Toni) Finke of St. Marys; two daughters, Stephanie (Scott) Eschelman of Wapakoneta and Fay Finke of Lexington, Ky.; a brother, Richard Finke of Celina; a half-brother, John Harlett of St. Marys; two stepdaughters, Tammy Holliday of Jacksonville, Ala.; and Teresa Crist of St. Marys; a stepson, Robert Crist of St. Marys; three grandchildren and three step-grandchilden. Mr. Finke was retired form General Dynamics Corp., in Lima, where he had been a welder. He was employed at the Shell gas station on Bellefontaine Street in Wapakoneta at the time of his death. A 1952 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School, he was also a graduate of the Hobart Welding School in Troy. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 691 in Wapakoneta. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys with the Rev. Joachim Wilck officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Wapakoneta. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
