Additional: Funeral services for Ferd C. Fisher at the Immaculate Conception Church in Botkins with burial at the St. Joseph cemetery, Wapakoneta. Widely known in farm groups. Member of Auglaize County Farm Bureau, secretary of the old Wapakoneta stockyards for more than 10 years. Served 16 years on the Pusheta district board of education. Born March 23, 1884 on a farm near Wapakoneta, the son of William and Wilhelmine Veit Fisher On May 18, 1908 he married Lucy Higgins who died in 1947. Survivors include 12 children and 32 grandchildren, four brothers, and six sisters. One son Robert is stationed at Hunter air force base in Georgia.
