Additional: Effie Mae Fledderjohn, 92, of 302 S. Vine St. St. Marys, and a life-long resident of Auglaize County except for several years spent in Tennessee in the early 1900's, died at 8:16 p.m. Thursday in the emergency room of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, where whe was transported from Auglaize Acres. Born August 27, 1894 in Auglaize County , she was a daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Wibbeler Barnhart. On June 25, 1924, she married Henry Fledderjohn, who preceded her in death on December 31, 1960. Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Emma Dicke of Auglaize Acres, Mrs. Clara Smith of Richmond, Indiana, Mrs. Caroline Tester of Greenville, Ohio, and Mrs. Edna Barnhart of Toledo; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Fledderjohn was a cigar wrapper for the DWG Cigar Company in St. Marys and Lima. She belonged to St. Pauls United Church of Christ, St. Marys, and to the Women's Guild of the Church. She also belonged to the Women's Relief Corps, of which she was the adopted mother, and to the St. Marys Senior Citizens. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Rev. Nathan Wierwille and Rev. Earl M. Vore officiating. Burial will be in Pilger Ruhe Cemetery, New Knoxville. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, where the Women's Relief Corps will conduct memorial services at 7 p.m. Preferred memorial contribuion is to the St. Paul United Church of Christ Memorial Fund.
