Additional: Charles I. Frazier, 80, Glynwood Road, Wapakoneta, died Friday morning, March 23, 2001, at his home. He was born March 9, 1921, at Duchouquet Township, Auglaize County, to Charles A. and Mary J. (Burden) Frazier. On Dec. 13, 1953, he married Alma L. Wortman, who died June 23, 1966. Survivors include a daughter, Laurie Frazier of Wapakoneta; two granddaughters, Missy Cogar of St. Marys and Chris Rostorfer, Wapakoneta, two brothers, Donald Frazier of Wapakoneta and John Frazier of Urbana; and two sisters, Marie Lowry and Ellen Fickel, both of Lima. He was preceded in death by a sister, Pearl Bowersock; and five brothers, Raymond, Carl, Walter, Clyde and Scott. Mr. Frazier was owner and operator of the Koneta Taxi Service for more than 20 years. Prior to that, he had been a janitor and boiler operator with the Koneta Hotel. He also worked with the Ayers Construction Company and Koneta Rubber Company, both of Wapakoneta. He was an avid fisherman and gardener. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta, with the Rev. Stephen Smitley officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
