She was born March 13, 1943, in Wapakoneta, to Kenneth E. Sr. and Alma M. (Reineke) Westbay. Her mother survives in Wapakoneta. On Dec. 31, 1971, she married Edward C. Epperson, who survives. Other survivors are a son and his wife, Eric and Beth of Wapakoneta, and two sons, Jay of New Bremen, and Matthew of Toledo; a stepdaughter and her husband, Teresa and Brian Limbert, Wapakoneta; a mother-in-law, Bertha Kinng, Wapakoneta; a sister and her husband, Sally and Larry Timmerman, Wapakoneta, and two sisters, Nancy A. Lambert, Wapakoneta, and Karen J. Wertz, Sidney; two brothers and their wives, Kenneth Jr. and Theresa Westbay, Richards, Texas, and Richard and Louise Westbay, Fryburg; a granddaughter and two step-grandchildren. Deceased are a stepdaughter, Rena, and two brothers-in-law, Bill Lambert and Jerry Wertz. She was employed in the deli department at the Wapakoneta Big Bear store, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta, and Wapakoneta Women's bowling Association. She was a 1961 graduate of St. Joseph High School. Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. William O'Donnell officiating. A private burial service will follow in the church cemetery. There will be no visitation. Contributions can be made to St. Joseph School or St. Rita's Hospice.
