Additional: Mrs. Sophia Elisabeth Eversman, age 77 years, 7 months and 16 days, died at the home of her son- in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore H. Kuck at New Knoxville, Saturday morning, November 16th at 3 o'clock. Mrs. Eversman, nee Wierwille, was the widow of the late William Eversman who preceded her in death on May 24, 1921. She was born in Ladbergen, Germany, on April 1, 1846, but emigrated to this country with her parents in 1852, the family coming direct from New York to New Knoxville. She was confirmed in the First German Reformed church at New Knoxville and remained a devoted and faithful member of the Congregation. Mrs. Eversman in survived by five sons and two daughters, H.W. Eversman, Clarence Eversman and Herman Eversman of New Knoxville, Benjamin Eversman of Etemby, Colo.; Louis Eversrman of Julesburg, Colo.; and Mrs. B.E.Cook and Mrs. Theodore H. Kuck of New Knoxville. One sister, Mrs. Fred Axe of Garner Iowa, and twenty-eight grandchildren besides a host of other relatives and friends also mourn her death. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. H.L. Kunst in the First German Reformed church at New Knoxville. Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Burial occurred at the Pilger Ruhe cemetery.
