Additional: New Knoxville, Aug. 19—Julius Henry Eversman, age 52, well known local business man died very suddenly at his home Monday afternoon at 12:30 o'clock of a heart attack. He was injured in an accident some months ago, but was very much improved and was ready to walk without the aid of his cane. Mr. Eversman was born north of New Knoxville, November 9, 1894, a son of Henry W. and Caroline Lutterbeck Eversman. His father preceded him in death. On December 26, 1916, he married Selma Kuhlman, who is left to mourn his death. An only son, Paul, died in infancy. Besides his bereaved wife and mother, he is survived by two brothers, Sylvanus and Ferd, both of New Knoxville. There are a great many friends. Mr. Eversman is a member of the Eagles lodge in St. Marys, the United Commercial Traveler's Association, and the Ohio Petroleum Marketers Association of which he was a director for the past six years. He was active in the social and civic affairs of the village and was a member of the Evangelical and Reformed church in New Knoxville. He was the operator and owner of the Eversman Oil Company in New Knoxville for 23 years and in that capacity, made many friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Evangelical and Reformed church with Dr. D.A. Bode officiating. Burial will be made in Pilger Ruhe Cemetery. Friends may call at the late residence Wednesday evening and until the hour of the services on Thursday.
