Additional: Gweneth Ann Eshelman, 14, of 09763 State Route 219, New Knoxville, died suddenly in her sleep on Sept. 12, 1998. The cause of death is unknown pending autopsy results, according to Auglaize County Coroner Thomas Freytag M.D. Gweneth was born Mar. 2, 1984, in Fremont to Bryon and Janet (Gase) Eshelman. She is survived by her parents, brothers, Christian and Kevin and sister Meredith, all at home. She is also survived by her paternal grandfather, William Eshelman, Clyde; maternal grandparents, Dick and Martha Gase, Tiffin and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Gweneth Eshelman. Miss Eshelman was a freshman at New Knoxville High School where she was active in the band, drama club, pep club and previously was a cheerleader. She belonged to the Cheery Sunbeams 4-H Club and was a friend to all. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, New Bremen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, New Breman, with the Rev. Daniel Conlon officiating. Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday in the narthex of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial donations be made in her name to the New Knoxville School Library, New Knoxville Park Association or the Holy Redeemer Youth Group.
