May 21, 1958—The Rev. F. H. Eversman, of Cecil, Wis, native of the New Knoxville community, died suddenly of a heart attack at 10 a.m. today at a hospital near Cecil. His brother, Wesley, southeast of New Knoxville, was notified. He was 58 years old. The Rev. Mr. Eversman had suffered with a heart ailment for some time. He was the son of the late Henry and Anna Settlage Eversman of near New Knoxville and and been ordained to the minstry in the New Knoxville Evangelical and Reformed church following his graduation from the mMission House College and Seminary. Surviving him are his wife, Alice, two sons, Charles and Paul and one daughter, Ruth Ann, three brothers, Walter of Wapakoneta, Wesley of near New Knoxville and Arnold of Dayton. Since his ordination he had served three churches of the Evangelical and Reformed faith, in Mount Vernon, Crothersville, Ind., and Cecil, Wis. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
May 22, 1958—Funeral services for the Rev. Florenz H. Eversman of Cecil, Wis., New Knoxville community native, who died suddenly yesterday of a heart attack, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Cecil and at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Voss Funeral Home, Seymour, Ind. Burial will be made in the cemetery at Seymour. The Rev. Mr. Eversman was ordained to the Christian ministry in June 1926, at the First Evangelical and Reformed church in New Knoxville. Surviving him are his wife, the former Alice Foster of Seymour, two sons, Charles, studying for the ministry at Mission House Seminary, Sheboygan, Wis., Paul, a student at the University of Wisconsin, and Ruth Ann, at home; three brothers, Walter, Wapakoneta, Wesley, New Knoxville R.R., and Arnold, Dayton.
