Additional: Elma Schultz Edgington, 77, of Waynesfield, died at 12:30 a.m. Saturday in Wapakoneta Manor Nursing Home. She was born March 30, 1905 in Logan County, the daughter of Joseph and Laura (Shockey) Phillips. Her first husband, Elmer Schultz died in 1965. Later she married Clarence Edgington who survives in Wapakoneta. Other survivors include three stepson, Byron Edgington of Columbus; James W. Edgington of Plain City; and Donald Edgington of Dayton; a step-daughter Mrs. Jack (Martha) Yale of Waynesfield; 23 step-grandchildren; and 20 step-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Edgington was a homemaker and member of the Waynesfield Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Koneta Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star in Wapakoneta. Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at McAuley Funeral Home, Waynesfield with the Rev. Arthur Derry officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery.
