Survivors are a son and his wife, James Philip and Pam of Batavia; a daughter and her husband, Mary Lou and Billy Joe Mitchell, Mesquite, Texas; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Deceased are two brothers, Walter and Lawrence Brodbeck, and four sisters, Agnes Hirsch, Ethel Lange, Helen Makley and Stella Gerstner. She was a homemaker and retired secretary of St. Marys Area Chamber of Commerce. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys, and was a 1923 graduate of St. Marys High School. She attended Bowling Green State Teachers College. Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. David A. Heinl officiating. Burial is at Gethsemane Cemetery, St. Marys. Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Long & Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, with a Christian prayer service at 8 p.m.
