Additional: Harold R. Drexler, 74, 320 E. Livingston St., Celina, died at 2:02 a.m. July 8 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. He was born Feb. 27, 1926, in Wapakoneta, to Anthony and Marie (Archer) Drexler. On April 19, 1952, he married Elizabeth (Liz) Fischer, who survives. Other survivors are three sons and their wives, Jerry and Lisa of Enfield, Conn., Thomas and Rose of Celina, and Douglas and Rosita of Greenville; two daughters and their husbands, Carla and Michael Hoyng, Chesterville, and Jo Ann and Hugh Geriak, Cedar Crest, N.M., and a daughter, Barbara of Botkins; two brothers and their wives, Walter and Ellen, and Alfred and Mae, all of Wapakoneta; a sister and her husband, Rita and Gene Dailey, Wapakoneta; and 11 grandchildren. Deceased are two brothers, Andrew and Clyde, a sister, Helen Steinke, and a grandson. He was retired from Prudential Insurance Co., and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and past president of its parish council, and Knights of Columbus Council 1800, both of Celina. Funeral Mass is at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. James C. Seibert officiating. Burial is at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Celina. Calling is 3-5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Celina. Contributions can be made to the church's endowment fund.
