She was born Oct. 20, 1922, in South Bend, Ind., to Maurice and Anna (Sparks) Jones. On Aug. 23, 1944, she married Elmer R. Coil, who died Dec. 29, 1990. Survivors are two sons, Douglas H. of Cary, Ill., and Bruce R. of McHenry, Ill.; a daughter, Kathleen J. Good, Celina; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Deceased are a sister, Naoma Gregory, and two brothers, Keith and Thane Jones. She was a retired medical secretary in Blue Island, Ill., and was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, American Legion, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliaries, and Women of the Moose Lodge, Welcome Wagon, all of Celina. She was a volunteer for the Cancer Society and Celina Senior Citizens Center. She was also a member of Lions Club in Cadiz, Ky. There will be no services or calling. Burial will be held at Hurricane Cemetery, Cadiz, Ky. W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Celina, handled arrangements. Contributions can be made to American Cancer Society.
