Additional: John E. Coil, 71, of Wapakoneta, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2000 at 7:20 p.m. at his residence. He was born Nov. 11, 1928 in Wapakoneta, the son of William Sherman and Cecil Diana Triese Coil. He married and divorced Irene Schaub, who survives, and then married Anna Irene Bickham Coil, who survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Pamela (Dave) Bullock of Wilmington and Beth Ann Coil of Ashville, N.C.; three sons, Tim (Ruth) Coil of Fryburg, Dennis (Lynnette) Coil of Indianapolis and Edward (Karan) Coil of Wapakoneta; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers. Mr. Coil was a car salesman for Clark Ford, Wapakoneta, and formerly owned and operated Coils Used Cars, Wapakoneta, and the Welcome Inn, New Hampshire. He was a member of Wapakoneta Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 691. Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. in Van Horn Funeral Home, Lakeview, with the Rev. Ed Shady officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rita's Home Health Care and /or American Heart Association.
