Additional: Harold M. Cridler, 74, of 838 Circle Dr., Wapakoneta was dead on arrival at 3:20 a.m. today in Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. He was born Dec. 9, 1907 in Wapakoneta, the son of James C. and Anna (Cook) Cridler. In 1930, he married Kathryn Myers who died in 1943. On Jan. 11, 1947, he married Ludena Veit, who survives. A brother Samuel Cridler of Wapakoneta also survives. Mr. Cridler was a World War II veteran of the U.S.Army and was a member of the American Legion in Wapakoneta. He was a member of Harner Lodge 167, Free and Accepted Masons and was past master; Chapter 183, Royal Arch Masons; and the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. For 40 years, he owned and operated Republic Printing until he sold the business in 1962. He was also owner of K. Specialities that made rubber stamps. For the past 15 years, he worked part time at the Wapakoneta Liquor Store. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Charles D. Siferd Funeral Home, Wapakoneta, with the Rev. Louis Bell officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Wapakoneta. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Masonic services will be held at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
