Additional: Lydia F. Brueggeman, 82, of R.R.1, New Bremen, died at 4 a.m. Friday at Joint Township District Memorial, following complications. She had been bedfast for one and a half years and hospitalized one week. Born June 30, 1896, north of St. Marys, she was the daughter of Herman and Fredericka (Elshoff) Schrolucke. On Dec. 8, 1926, she was married to Emil H. Brueggeman who preceded her in death Nov. 16, 1960. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Johann (Mary) Klein Jr. of R.R.1, New Bremen; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Lena Schrolucke and Mrs. George (Emma) Sandkuhl, both of Auglaize Acres, Wapakoneta. Three brothers, Ben, Leo and Otto, and a sister, Mrs. Ferd (Sophia) Greber are deceased. Mrs. Brueggeman was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ, New Bremen, and was a homemaker. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday in the Vornholt Funeral Home, New Bremen, with the Rev. Larry K. May officiating. Burial will be in German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and until time of services on Monday in the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.
