Additional: Henry I. "Heinie" Bubp, 81, formerly of 354 N. Chestnut St., St. Marys, died at 1:15 Saturday at Auglaize Acres, Wapakoneta, where he had resided since 1977. He was born Sept. 10, 1900 in Wapakoneta, the son of William Edward and Ann (Duvel) Bubp. On Sept 15, 1921, he married Madeline Widner who survives in St. Marys. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Madeline) Hunter of St. Marys; one son Geary Bubp of R.R.2, St. Marys; 12 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren. Mr. Bubp was the last surviving member of his immediate family. A son, Henry "Bud" Jr. and two brothers, Alvin and Franklin predceded him in death. He was owner-operator of Heinie's Place from 1943-62. Mr. Bubp was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagle, Aerie 767 and a Golden Eagle. He was also a former member of the Chamber of Commerce. He was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Leo A. Hoying officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Yoder-Long & Folk Funeral home from 4-9 p.m. Monday. Preferred memorial is the charity of the donor's choice.
