Additional: Former New Bremen and Wapakoneta resident Eleanor E. (Heil) Brown, 95, died at 6:46 p.m. July 21 at Dorothy Love Retirement Community, Sidney. She was born Jan. 11, 1906, in Chickasaw, to Anton and Mary (Heyne) Rentz. On Feb. 26, 1924, she married Lawrence Heil, who died in Nov. 1972. On April 4, 1981, she married Robert Brown, who died March 25, 1992. Survivors are three stepsons; a stepdaughter; a grandson, two great-granddaughters and two great-great-grandchildren. Deceased is a son, Charles A. Heil, seven brothers and five sisters. She was a homemaker and was retired from Stamco of New Bremen. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Redeemer, New Bremen. Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Daniel Conlon officiating. Burial is at St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery, Minster. Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, and from 9 a.m. Wednesday until time of services at the church.
