Additional: Alfrieda E. Broerman, 85, formerly of Minster, died at 2 a.m. Friday, Dec. 15, 2000, at Otterbein-St. Marys Retirement Community where she resided for nine years. She was born Feb. 25, 1915, at Minster to Joseph and Mary (Horstman) Ripploh. On Nov. 20, 1941, she married Richard Baumer, who died Jan. 18, 1965. On April 21, 1976, she married Henry Broerman, who died March 4, 1991. Survivors include step-children, Patricia and Don Meyer of Tipp City, Richard and Mary Kay Broerman of Wisconsin Dells, Wis.; six step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Broerman was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, St. Monica Ladies Sodality and Fraternal Order of Eagles 1391 Auxilary. She was the co-owner with her husband, Richard Baumer, of Ripploh's Market at Minster. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Tuesday at St. Augustine Church with the Rev. William Hoyng officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home.
