Additional: Death claimed Alvin A. Brentlinger, R.R.4, Wapakoneta, at 6:45 a.m. Sunday at the Auglaize County Home. The retired farmer was 98 years old. Born June 2, 1874, in Auglaize County, he was the son of Abram and Lucy Shaw Brentlinger. On December 23, 1893, he was married to Glendasy Martin who passed away in 1936. Two children survive, Carson Brentlinger of Burbank, California, and Mrs. Garner (Elizabeth) Gaberdeil, Hemit, California; also four grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Ada Carter, R.R.6, Wapakoneta, and one brother, W.D. Brentlinger, R.R.6, Wapakoneta, one son and two brothers preceded him in death. He was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church, Wapakoneta. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Siferd Funeral Home, Wapakoneta with the Rev. Orvin Brenneman officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
