Additional: Mary Armaly, 82, Wapakoneta, died at 4:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19, 2001, at her home. She was born Nov.11, 1918, in Detroit, the daughter of Richard and Jenny Shaieb. On July 31, 1948, she married Anthony C. Armaly, who died Oct. 25, 1983. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ann (Andre) Rabette and Rita Armaly, both of Wapakoneta; two sons, Charles Armaly of Harrison Township, Mich., and Anthony (Stacey) Armaly of Wapakoneta; two sisters, Joyce Bashour of Great Barrington, Mass., and Harriet Armaly of Grosse Pointe, Mich.; a brother, George Shaieb of Lake Park, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Michele (Ty) McClain, Nicole Rabette, Jason (Christie) Burke, Angela Armaly, Richard Armaly, Anthony Armaly III and Alex Armaly; and two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Connor. She was preceeded in death by a son, Richard; two sisters, Josephine Shaieb and Alice Butler; and a brother Raymond Shaieb. A homemaker, Mrs. Armaly was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wapakoneta and the Wapakoneta Eagles 691. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the St. Sharbei Catholic Church in Warren, Mich. The body will lie in state from 10 a.m. until the time of the Services Friday at the church. Burial will follow at the Assumption Grotto Cemetery in Detroit. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today and 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Verheyden Funeral Home in Warren, Mich. Local arrangements are being handled by the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home in Wapakoneta. Memorials may be directed to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wapakoneta or the Auglaize County Council on Aging.
