Additional: Wildwood, Fla.—Marie N. Wiehe, 80, formerly of St. Marys, died Thursday, June 8, 2000. She was born Aug. 4, 1919 in New Bremen to Arnold and Nora Blase Luebkeman. On Nov. 16, 1939, she married Victor Wiehe, who survives in Wildwood. She is survived by six sons; Paul and Carolyn of New Knoxville, Roger and Sandi of Celina, Wayne and Judy of Celina, Dale and Peg of Celina, Gene and Glenna of Palmer, Alaska, and Dennis and Barb of St. Marys; one sister, Helen Dicke of New Bremen; 13 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Fredrick Luebkeman. Mrs. Wiehe was a press operator for ten years at Goodyear Tire and Rubber and worked for many years with her husband at Johns Furniture in St. Marys. She was a 27 year member of American Legion Post 323 Auxiliary. She was a former member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in St. Marys and Faith Presbyterian Church in Wildwood. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Resthaven Memory Gardens. Memorials may be directed to Faith Presbyterian Church or mailed to Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys.
