Additional: Henry Fred W.C. Wehmeyer, one of the old settlers of this vicinity, died Monday after a short illness from lung fever, at the age of 69 years and 23 days. The deceased was born in the old fatherland, and came after his marriage to this country, landing in New York in 1885. He was married to Sophie Marie Caroline Weber, nee Berghorn on Jan. 25, 1867. Nine children were born to the union, of whom a son has gone to his last reward. Funeral took place yesterday afternoon and the remains were interred in the German Protestant cemetery. Rev. Bertram conducted the services.
