Additional: Donald Ernst Wierwille, 60, 5555 Wierwille Road, died following an extended illness at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. He was born Aug. 11, 1940, in New Knoxville, to Dr. Victor Paul and Dorothea (Kipp) Wierwille. His mother survives in New Knoxville. On April 14, 1962, he married Wanda Strohshein, who survives. Other survivors are a daughter and her husband, Laurinda and Matthew Harmon, New Knoxville, and a daughter Kristina of Gunnison, Calif.; a son and his wife, Ralph Ernst and Joy of Sun Prairie, Wisc.; and a grandson. He served as Vice-President Emeritus, the President of the College of Emporia, and was Vice President of the Way International Biblical Research in New Knoxville. He taught junior high school in Winnebago County, Ill., and served as a reading specialist in Rockton, Ill., and a principal of Clinton Community Grade Schools in Clinton, Wisc. He was a 1958 graduate of Van Wert High School and received a Doctor of Education from the University of Kansas. Private services will be held. Miller Funeral Home in New Knoxville handled the arrangements.
