Additional: New Bremen-0, Sept. 4—Mrs. Bertha Matilda Wiehe, 65, died suddenly this morning at her home south of New Bremen at 6 o'clock. Mrs. Wiehe was born June 17, 1894, in Shelby county east of New Bremen, the daughter of the late Ernest and Elizabeth Niemeyer Huelsmeyer. She married Harry Wiehe May 26, 1915, and he survives. Surviving with the husband are the following children, Howard of New Bremen; Mrs. Richard (Ruth) King of Celina; Victor of St. Marys; Mrs. James (Elizabeth) King of Lima; Mrs. Wallace (Edna) Hirschfeld, R.R. New Bremen; Mrs. Willis (Bernice) Wittenbrink of New Bremen; one sister Mrs. Emma Brueggeman of Sidney; one half breother, Theodore Kuck of New Knoxville; 20 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Two sons preceded her in death. Mrs. Wiehe was a member of the St. Paul's United Church of Christ and the Ladies Aid. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Gilberg and Hegemier funeral home with Dr. E.H. Bassler officiating. Burial will be in German Protestant Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Sunday until the hour of the services Monday.
