Additional: Taletha Marie Schroer, 87, formerly of 09428 Ohio 219, New Knoxville, died at 4:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, at the St. Marys Living Center. She was born Aug. 7, 1911 in Washington Township to Lewis and Margaretha (Heidt) Aufderhaar. On Aug. 31, 1933, she married Enoch B. Schroer, who died Dec. 31, 1983. She is survived by two daughters and two sons-in-law, John and Evelyn Hole of Wapakoneta; Alfred and Doris Hollenbacher of Wapakoneta; one son and daughter- in-law, Don and Florence Schroer of New Knoxville; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, and one sister-in-law, Wesley Aufderhaar of New Knoxville; Albert and Rachel Aufderhaar of Lima; and one sister, Viola Fledderjohann of Lima. She was proceded in death by one grandson, Timothy Hole. Mrs. Schroer was a graduate of the New Knoxville High School. She was a homemaker and had also retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. She was a member of the New Knoxville United Methodist Church, where she belonged to the Women's Society. She enjoyed sewing and flower gardening. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1998 at the New Knoxville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mitch Arnold officiating. Burial will follow at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery in New Knoxville. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, 1998 at Vornholt-Miller Funeral Home in New Knoxville and one hour prior to the Services at the church. Memorial donations may be made to the Organ Fund at New Knoxville United Methodist Church.
