Additional: Shane David Shoup, 25, 512 Court Street, died unexpectedly Thursday, Oct. 21, 1999, at his residence. He was born Aug 20, 1974 in Lima to David G. and Sharon M. Hittepole Shoup. His father died Feb. 22, 1998. On Oct. 26, 1996, he married Mandy E. Burden, who died Jan. 11, 1999. He is survived by his mother; one son Alexander at home; sister Staci and Jarrod Neidemire; fiance Shelly Hembree of Celina; grandfather Ralph Shoup of Wapakoneta; grandparents Chester and Dorothy Hittepole Sr. of Wapakoneta. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Marilyn Shoup, his wife and his father. Mr. Shoup was an agent with Northwestern Mutual life/Baird Securites in Lima. He was formerly employed by Bay Corporation in Monroe, Mich. and by Provico in Botkins. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Fraternal Order of Eagles, both in Wapakoneta. He was a member of the Wapakoneta High School class of 1992 and attended Ohio State University and Lima Technical College. He was an avid outdoorsman, especially enjoying hunting and fishing. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wapakoneta with theh Rev. William O'Donnell officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Long and Folk Funeral Home in Wapakoneta where a prayer service will be held at 8 p.m.
