Additional: Olga Shuster, 85, formerly of 104 S. East Street, New Knoxville, and a resident of Ottobein St. Marys Retirement Community in St. Marys, died at 2:35 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001, following an extended illness. She was born June 10, 1915, in New Knoxville, the daughter of Herman and Dora (Aufderhaar) Meckstroth. On June 4, 1938, she married Ralph Shuster, who died March 22, 1996. Survivors include two daughters, Elaine (Arthur) Shaw of New Knoxville and Diane (Roger) Lawarre of Lowell, Mich.; seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Meckstroth. A homemaker, Mrs. Shuster was a member of the New Knoxville United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the New Knoxville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mitch Arnold officiating. Burial will be at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery in New Knoxville. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Vornholt-Miller Funeral Home, 200 W. Spring St., New Knoxville, where memorials may be directed to the church.
