Additional: Miss Lydia Snethkamp, daughter of Mr. W.H. Snethkamp of New Knoxville, died on Saturday May 3, 1902 in North Carolina, whither she had gone for the benefit of her health. The deceased was about 22 years old and was estimable young lady. She had been in North Carolina aobout six months and it was thought that her health was being restored when she contracted catarrhal pneumonia. Her brother went to her bedside and was present when her spirit took its flight. The remains were brought to New Knoxville and the funeral took place Monday, Rev. J. Bachman conducting the services.
