Additional: Summery of news article: Mrs. Schneble had given birth to her third child about two weeks previously and had become very despondant. All that medical science could do had been done & every precaution was taken. Her sister had been waiting on her since the birth of the child and while the family was sleeping between 1 and 2 a.m., Mrs. Schneble quietly left the premises. When her sister went to check on her, the husband arose an alarm and all the neighborhood searched until daylight when it was decided that she plunged into the canal. The water was let out between locks 11 and 12 where she was found just south of the South street bridge. The remains were viewed by Squire Henderson & then prepared for shipment to the Schneble's former home at Dayton. They had lived in St. Marys for about three years, he being employed at the St. Marys Machine shops. She was a favorite among her acquaintances, being a most estimable young lady.
