Additional: Mary E. Stienecker, 90, Glynwood Road, Wapakoneta, died at 8:40 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2001, at Shawnee Manor in Lima. She was born Dec. 19, 1910, in Cridersville, the daughter of Charles Irvin and Edna (Church) Winget. On Aug. 5, 1934, she married Roger Martin Stienecker, who died Aug 26, 1993. Survivors include a son, Dr. Charles Denny (Nancy Jo) Stienecker of Wapakoneta; a daughter, Dr. Sherry Dee (Carroll) Meadows of West Liberty; a sister-in-law, Georgiana Winget of Wapakoneta; six granchildren, Dr. Roger Scott (Lyn) Stienecker, Shelley Ann (Neal) Mulconrey, Merilee (Matt) Zicardi, Charles Andrew (Kelly) Stienecker, Eric McCowell (Allison) Smith and Erin Lynn Smith; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Magdalene (Charles) Naas; and three brothers, and two sisters-in-law, Arnold (Mary) Winget, Richard (Edna) Winget and Robert Winget. A homemaker, Mrs. Stienecker worked as an accountant with the Colonial Finance Co. in Lima and the Gramm Truck and Trailer Corp in Delphos. She was a 1921 graduate of the Cridersville High School and a 1929 graduate of Lima Business College. She was a 50 year member of the Delphos Chapter 26, Order of the Eastern Star. She was also a member of First United Methodist Church in Wapakoneta and a former 43 year member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Delphos. A former member of the Wapakoneta Senior Citizens, she volunteered at church, school and her community for many years. She was an outstanding bowler. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home in Wapakoneta with the Rev. G. Richard Bell officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Wapakoneta. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today and one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to St. Rita's Hospice or First United Methodist Church in Wapakoneta.
