Additional: Ed Smith, a well-known resident of this place, died at his home on the east side Saturday morning after a lingering illness of several months duration from jaundice. His age was 55 years, and a widow and several children survive. The funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon by the Rev. J.F. Harshbarger, and the remains were buried in Elmgrove cemetery.
