Additional: Funeral services were held his afternoon in Wapakoneta for Mrs. Edith Marie Shockey, 70, who died at her home at 410 East Pearl Street, Wapakoneta, on Saturday. She had been suffering with lukemia and had been ill five weeks. She was a native of Pusheta Township, a daughter of Lewis and Mary Baeumel Heisler, both deceased. On July 10, 1905, she was married to James W. Shockey, who preceded her in death. Surviviors include four children Mrs. Raymond (Mary) Barber, Mrs. John (Marie) Brands, James Shockey, all of Wapakoneta; and John Shockey of Battle Creek, Michigan; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild and one sister, Mrs. Frank Mertle of Ft. Thomas, Ky.
