Additional: Minster, O, April 29- Edwin H. Schaub, 48, Botkins Rural Route, died at 8:25 o'clock this morning at his residence near Rhine, Ohio. He had been ill since December 1948 and complications caused his death. He was born at Fryburg on June 6, 1900, a son of George L. and Catherine Schneider Schaub, who preceded him in death May 9, 1946 and May 3, 1925 repsectively. He moved from Auglaize County to Shelby County in 1929. On July 16, 1929, he married Amanda Greve, who mourns his death with three children, Nelson, Norman, and Ruth Ann, all at home. There are also the following brothers surviving: George, Albert, and Raymond, all of Wapakoneta Rural Route; Ollie of Anna Rural Route; Leo and Franklin of Botkins Rural Route; and William of Botkins. Mr. Schaub was engaged in farming. He was a member of the St. Lawrence church, Rhine, and of the Holy Name and St. Joseph Men's Societies. Funeral serives will be conducted Monday morning at 9 o'clock from the church at Rhine with the Rev. Edwin Dittman officiating at the requiem high mass. Burial will be in St. Lawrence cemetery. The body will be removed from the Heinl Funeral Home, Minster, to the residence where friends may call anytime after 5 o'clock Saturday evening.
