Additional: Mrs. Caroline Fredericka Schmidt, age 80, R.R.2, Wapakoneta, died at 10:15 a.m. today at her home south of Moulton of the Moulton-New Knoxville road. She had been ill for the last six weeks. Mrs. Schmidt was born Nov. 17, 1884 in New Knoxville, the daughter of August and Sophia Schroer Stork. On April 28, 1904, she was married to Rudolph Schmidt who preceded her in death on Feb. 16, 1941. Surviving her are two sons, Landis L., 43 North Kenilworth, Lima, and G. Arlin Schmidt, R.R.2, Wapakoneta; one brother, William A. Stork, Bellefontaine; two grandchildren, Thomas Schmidt and Mrs. Thomas (Neila) Bredehoft, both of Lima, seven great grandchildren, George, Thad, and John Bredehoft, David, Ann, Susan and Lynn Schmidt. Three sisters, Anna, Cora and Bertha are deceased. Mrs. Schmidt was a lifelong member of the First United Church of Christ, New Knoxville. She had lived south of Moulton since 1925. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Yoder and Long Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth A. Worthman officiating. Burial will take place in Pilger Ruhe cemetery, New Knoxville. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
