Additional: William G. Rensch, 81, 1321 Celina Road, St. Marys, died at 4:35 p.m. Jan. 7 near his residence. He had been outside getting the mail when he collapsed. He was born Dec. 26, 1920, in Wapakoneta, to William and Helen (Loescher) Rensch. On Jan. 23, 1982, he married Betty Lunz and she survives. Also surviving are three stepsons and their wives, Lester and Roni Bowersock, Kansas City, Mo., Kenneth and Rose Bowersock and Jeff and Kate Bowersock, all of St. Marys; four sisters, Emma Roethlisberger, Cape Coral, Fla., Catherine Snyder, Wapakoneta, Dorothy Alexander, Celina, and Mary Haney, Monroe, N.C.; seven step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. He retired as a lathe operator from Crown Equipment Corp., New Bremen, and graduated from Blume High School, Wapakoneta. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Asiatic-Pacific Threatre during World War II, a member of Grace United Methodist Church, St. Marys, and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 691, Wapakoneta, a life member of American Legion Post 323, St. Marys, and a life member and past commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5713, Celina. Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. James Nuhfer officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens near Moulton. Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
